Michael and Keri had a great weekend in Schaumburg while the boys stayed in Grand Ridge with Terry and Gaylene. While in the Chicago area, we got to see some friends that we haven't seen in quite awhile, so that was fun. We ate at Uno's Pizzeria with our friends' Beth & Dave and their daughter, Ella. We also went to visit the Marchetti Family and got to see the twins (Alex and Emma), plus their 7-week-old daughter Mia (she's beautiful!). It was strange to get a whole weekend of sleep, but it was nice to spend some time together as just the two of us.
On Monday, (3/10), Keri had her first laser procedure for the varicose veins in her right leg. It went very well, and she seemed fine after the initial realization of what they were going to do. It made her feel a little queasy at first, but then got over herself and was fine. The pain is actually quite minimal, just some bruising and her leg is a little stiff, but that is all to be expected. She learned quickly that the more she walks the better it feels.
The boys come back home tonight just in time for Speech and Kindermusik. Thank you to Michael's parents for helping out when we need them!
