Well, I might've fibbed a little bit when I said I'd have new pictures up on Monday. So, it's 4 days later, that's not too bad. As I mentioned before, we have had requests to put pictures up of Michael and me. I haven't gotten a picture of Michael in such a long time, so one of him is still coming, however, I do have one now of me with my friend, Rachel, at her baby shower last week. There are also many pictures of the boys!
Onto other exciting news - We officially have carpet in our basement! Now we just need to do the finishing touches. It really looks good.
We had an earthquake early this morning, although Michael and I had no clue it happened until we heard it on the news. It certainly didn't wake us up even though it measured 5.4 on the scale. My mom even felt the aftershocks later in the day, but I didn't feel a thing! Crazy!
Have a great weekend everyone!

pictures coming tonight!
I have been hounded by a few to get some new pictures up here. I took quite a few pictures recently, and I'll plan to get them on here tonight. It's been requested to have a picture of Michael and me up here. I don't remember the last time we took pictures of US - it's all about the kids these days! But, I'll see what I can do.
April is half over already!
I can't believe it's already April 14, and I only have 7 weeks of school left. YAY! I have Summer Fever really bad this year.
Not a whole lot has happened since our last post. We are continuing to work on the basement, and the carpet is scheduled to be installed on Wednesday. We are so excited to have this finished so that we can have a play room! I had two baby showers this past Saturday, one for my friend Rachel who I used to work with in Elmhurst. Her baby is due June 2 - I think that she should have the little one on May 30, so he/she can share Jonah's birthday! The other shower was for my friend Stacey from IWU. Her baby girl was born early - 2 weeks ago, and they named her Finnley Grace. She's a CUTIE, and she's doing so well! Since I was gone all day in the Chicago suburbs, Michael took the boys to Grand Ridge to visit. They came home later than planned on Sunday because Patrick kept saying that "it's not time yet" to come home. He just LOVES visiting Grandma and Grandpa.
See? not too much excitement, which is good. I like living a predictable life. Love to all who reads this. :-)

It's official. Jonah's on the move, and NOTHING is safe. He has a fascination with the laptop, and he will do anything he can to get his hands on it. He is such a bruiser. He's even cruising the furniture now, so we need to keep watch at all times!
We had a very nice weekend, especially with the weather being so great! Michael was pitching balls to Patrick in the yard, and Patrick was swinging the bat better than many of the Cubs starters. Made his daddy proud.
We have 75 days until we leave for our Mexico vacation. We're going to Cabo, without the boys, but with Joey and Anna instead. This means that there's only 75 days left to get our beach body back, which we're not sure we ever had to begin with. One thing is for sure, it's been proven by both of us that sweets, wine, and chips & salsa does not cause weight loss; maybe if we cut out the sweets and chips & salsa...
Have a great week everyone!
